New accounts for the company behind Co. Wicklow's Druids Glen hotel, Obalus Hotel Company Ltd, reveal that the firm's pre-tax profit came to €978,887 last year while revenues rose 6% from €12.13 million to €12.67 million.
As reported by The Irish Independent, the company's 2017 pre-tax profit follows a pre-tax loss of €1.39 million in 2016. The directors' report indicated that the Druids Glen hotel amassed an operating profit of €1.3 million in 2017, with the directors stating, "2018 is already proving to be a strong year".

The figures' reveal follows the news from August that the Druids Glen hotel had been put on the market with a guide price of €45 million.
