New accounts filed for the company behind Dublin's Gresham Hotel have revealed that the firm recorded an operating profit of €4.9 million for 2017 while revenue came to €17.6 million. These figures represent a drop from €5.5 million and €18.2 million, respectively, in 2016.
The Irish Independent reports that the accounts for company behind the hotel also revealed that the firm paid a dividend of €3 million last year to new Spanish owners the Riu Group while a final dividend of €4.6 million was proposed in respect of 2017.
Responding to the statistics for 2017, the directors of the Gresham firm stated that they expect the figures for 2018 to be an improvement over last year.
Trinity City Hotel
Elsewhere in Dublin, new accounts for the Trinity City Hotel have revealed that the venue made a pre-tax profit of €3.3 million last year while revenue rose slightly, going from €11.4 million to €11.6 million.
