Press Up Entertainment has submitted plans to increase the room count of Dublin's Clarence Hotel by 54.
The news arrives in the wake of Press Up's acquisition of the hotel's leasehold.
According to Press Up's plans, the new rooms would be located on the second, third and fourth storeys of Dollard House, which is situated next to The Clarence.
"Excited"
The Irish Independent quotes a Press Up spokesperson as saying that the group is "excited to further expand the business".
The spokesperson added that it would take approximately one year to develop the new rooms.
