Irish pub and restaurant group Press Up Entertainment is understood to have obtained a site with planning permission for a 134-bedroom hotel in Galway.
The green light was given to Highgate Properties Limited last September to develop a hotel on the site, which includes numbers 80, 82, 84 and 86 on Prospect Hill in Galway city.
According to The Irish Times, it is understood that Press Up Entertainment has acquired the site and its accompanying planning permission for €4.5 million. The planning permission also allows for the opening of two bars within the proposed hotel structure.
