Following its acquisition of the Aspect Hotel Kilkenny last week, Irish hotel management firm the PREM Group has announced its intention to open two new Premier Suites venues in mainland Europe, the first of which will open in Anthwerp this September, with the second launching in Amsterdam in late 2019.
Talking to The Sunday Independent, PREM chief executive Jim Murphy said, “The big push is into Northern Europe at this stage.”
He added, “Any future acquisitions will be done through our own cash resources and we may look at the possibility of a sale of a mature asset and use that cash to continue to grow the business.”
