Pre-tax rofits at Dublin’s four-star Mespil Hotel rose by 50% last year to €3.749 million while revenues increased by 20% from €8.9 million to €10.7 million.
According to The Irish Independent, the directors stated that €428,701 was invested in the hotel during the year and a substantial upgrade of the 106 of the venues bedrooms has commenced since year-end.
Continuing Recovery
The directors attribute the 20% rise in revenue to a combination of continuing recovery in the hotel sector and substantial investment in refurbishing the Mespil.
