Accounts for the parent company of Co. Kilkenny's Mount Juliet hotel and golf resort, Mount Juliet Unlimited, have revealed that the venue's pre-tax losses decreased by 7% to €2.99 million last year.
The reduction in the venue's pre-tax losses came as its revenues rose 35% to €11.59 million, as reported by The Irish Times.
Staff Statistics And Shareholders' Deficit
Meanwhile, the number of people employed by Mount Juliet increased from 102 to 118 last year; the venue's staff costs increased from €4.9 million to €5.76 million; and Mount Juliet Unlimited had an €8.8 million shareholders' deficit at the end of the year.
