A property with approved planning permission for a four-star 81-bedroom hotel located at No. 77 St. Stephen's Green in Dublin has hit the market with a guiding price in excess of €16 million.
According to The Irish Independent, the planning permission allows for the refurbishment of the former Loreto nuns' home to encompass eight suites, graceful reception rooms, a high-quality bar and restaurant, and spa facilities. Permission also exists to construct a 73-bedroom block at the rear of the building.
Commenting on the property, John Ryan of CBRE's hotel division said it offers a "unique opportunity to acquire a superbly located hotel development site and the opportunity to develop a unique boutique hotel comparable with the best in the world."
