The owner of Co. Down's Mourne Park House, Marion Needham Russell, has revived plans to convert the property into a hotel.
The central block of Mourne Park House was damaged by a fire in May of 2013, at which time plans were being drawn up to turn the property into a boutique hotel.
Pre-Planning Application Notice
According to The Belfast Telegraph, a pre-planning application notice that proposes converting the 16th century stately home into a luxury hotel and spa has been submitted to Newry, Mourne and Down Council.
The Kilmorey Arms Hotel of Kilkeel will host a public meeting to air the plans for the property in September.
If approved, the property's conversion will involve a refurbishment and the construction of a new-build extension.
