Luttrellstown Castle Resort in Dublin has opened to the public for the first time with the introduction of the Aileen Plunkett Afternoon Tea.
Luttrellstown Castle states that Aileen Plunkett Afternoon Tea in the Van Stry ballroom "begins with delicate finger sandwiches, baskets of warm, freshly baked scones and specialties unique to Luttrellstown Castle Resort including Aileen’s Special Banana Bread".
Executive Chef James Tennant has also created a selection of sweet treats including Hibiscus Macaroons and Aileen’s Treat, an parfait layered with fresh strawberries, peach and a splash of Grand Marnier.
Aileen Plunkett Afternoon Tea is served on two sittings every Sunday, 2pm and 4.15pm, every weekend from October 2017 and on weekdays for the month of December.
