The Loughview Leisure Group, with the support of Ulster Bank, is on the cusp of completing more than £20 million worth of investments across its operations in Northern Ireland.
As reported by insidermedia.com, the company has spent upwards of £18 million on the acquisition and extension of Belfast's Ten Square Hotel, as well as opening a children's play centre called World of Wonder in Carrickfergus and adding extra rooms, a new reception and an upgraded frontage to the Chimney Corner Hotel in Newtownabbey.
Loughview Leisure finance director, Christopher Kearney, stated, "We are very pleased to be completing such significant projects which will enhance our guests' experience and help ensure that the hotels are at the forefront of Northern Ireland's visitor offering."
Ulster Bank's head of corporate banking, Kenton Hilman, added that the investments "will significantly enhance visitor experience, add to Northern Ireland's tourism offering and create valuable new jobs."
