Jurys Inn has announced the appointment of Andrew Shaw as its new head of development.
Shaw joins Jurys Inn from IHG where he led the UK and Ireland development team and was tasked with further growing the region’s portfolio of over 320 hotels across all the group’s brands.
Key Role
At Jurys Inn, Shaw will play a key role in growing the group’s presence in the UK and Ireland under the Jurys Inn and Leonardo brands as it looks to considerably grow the number of acquisition and development opportunities. He will be responsible for leading the expanding development team, and identifying and driving strategic business development and acquisition opportunities for the group.
Commenting on the appointment, Jurys Inn managing director Jason Carruthers said, “Andrew is a fantastic addition to the team and brings unique experience from across hotel development, brokerage and franchise agreements to our business. We have ambitious plans to significantly expand the growth of the Jurys Inn and Leonardo group, and Andrew’s experience will be fundamental in achieving this.”
