InterContinental Dublin, the five-star hotel in Ballsbridge, has reopened its landscaped garden terrace for the summer with a new seasonal menu, developed by executive chef Alberto Rossi and his team.
The new Summer Garden Terrace lunch menu includes a selection of specially curated summer bites, to be enjoyed in the sunshine.
‘A Real Sun Trap’
“Our executive head chef, Alberto Rossi, and his team have created a new, exciting menu for this summer, which is complemented with a new wine-and-champagne list and cocktails,” said Nicky Logue, general manager at InterContinental Dublin.
“The main garden is a real sun trap when the sun shines, and at the weekend, we have a Spanish guitarist, to add to the summer atmosphere.
“We are very much looking forward to welcoming guests this summer for a great dining experience.”
Al Fresco
Visitors to the garden terrace can enjoy a glass of Perrier-Jouët champagne or a chilled Chablis, a cool beer, or one of the hotel’s signature summer cocktails, created by its expert mixologists, while enjoying five-star service, al fresco.
A selection of seasonal sweet treats from the hotel’s pastry chef, Orna Larkin, is also available.
‘Oasis Of Calm’
The garden terrace is surrounded by trees and plants tended to by the in-house gardener, Nick. Visitors are encouraged to sit back and relax to the sound of the water fountain and birdsong.
“We are delighted to launch our outdoor dining for summer 2024 here at InterContinental Dublin,” said Logue.
“We market the hotel as an urban resort in the city, especially having our own beautiful grounds and gardens.”
