Hastings Hotels has announced plans to invest close to £2 million in tailored staff training over the next four years across its seven Northern Irish hotels.
According to The Belfast Telegraph, the endeavour is being supported by £400,000 from Invest NI and will see Hastings Hotels develop its executive management, supervisors, and rooms and catering teams.
"Greatest Asset"
Hastings Hotels managing director Howard Hastings stated, "People are our greatest asset so naturally the ongoing training and development of our staff is of the utmost importance.
"This is a very exciting time for the hotel industry.
"We want to ensure Hastings Hotels has the infrastructure and services in place to take advantage of future opportunities. We want to ensure that our people have the opportunity to pursue a career in the hotel industry and avail of the prospects it can open up for them."
