Donegal's Harvey's Point hotel has been named Ireland's top hotel and the tenth best European hotel in TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice Awards 2017.
The four-star hotel, which was also named Ireland's best hotel for service, beat the likes of Ashford Castle; The Merrion Hotel; Killarney Park Hotel; and Hayfield Manor Hotel to be named Ireland's top hotel.
Hungary's five-star Aria Hotel by Library Hotel Collection was named the top hotel in Europe, with Turin Palace Hotel; Barcelona's Hotel The Serras; BoHo Prague Hotel; and Portrait Firenze in Florence rounding off the top five hotels in Europe.
Other winners included Dingle's four-star Castlewood House being named Ireland's most romantic hotel as well as the twelfth best bargain hotel in the world; Killarney Park Hotel named Ireland's number one luxury hotel; Pax Guest House in Dingle named Ireland's top b&b and inn; and Pillo Hotel Ashbourne crowned Ireland's top hotel for families.
