Developer Harry Crosbie has received permission to develop a new eight-storey hotel at Vicar Street in Dublin.
The Irish Times reports that a spokesman for Crosbie stated that construction of the new hotel is scheduled to start within the next few weeks, with the venue planned to open in 2020.
Money For Local Infrastructure
A condition of the granting of planning permission is that the hotel firm pays €487,707 to Dublin City Council, which is to be put towards public infrastructure for the area.
The hotel's construction will be handled by Walls Construction.
