Glin Castle And Wilder Townhouse Added To Ireland Blue Book

Glin Castle of Co. Limerick and The Wilder Townhouse of Dublin 2 have both been added to Ireland's Blue Book for 2020.

Ireland's Blue Book is a collection of country house hotels, manor houses, castles and restaurants located throughout the island of Ireland. The announcement of the new additions to the collection was made at the Blue Book annual general meeting on November 5 at Ballymaloe House in Co. Cork. The new additions bring the total number of properties in the Ireland's Blue Book collection to 56.

Situated in a 400-acre wooded demesne on the banks of the River Shannon, Glin Castle features 15 bedrooms, a grand entrance hall, a dining room, a library and a drawing room, and can be hired exclusively for private rental accommodation, events, golf tours and small weddings.

Meanwhile, The Wilder Townhouse is located close to the capital's St. Stephen's Green and features a range of different room styles and sizes as well as an art deco style residents' bar and The Gin and Tea Rooms venue, which serves a selection of bespoke craft gins from across Ireland.

"Beautiful And Completely Unique"

Ireland's Blue Book chairperson Laura Bowe commented, "I am delighted to welcome The Wilder Townhouse and Glin Castle to Ireland's Blue Book. Both properties are beautiful and completely unique, which is a true representation of what a quintessential Blue Book property is."
