Readers of influential travel guide Condé Nast have put four Irish hotels in the Top 10 Resorts in Europe.
Voted for in the magazine's Readers' Choice Awards, Trump International Golf Links & Hotel in Co. Clare (pictured) came in at an impressive second place, ahead of Ashford Castle (4th), the Powerscourt Hotel (8th) and Sheen Falls Lodge (9th).
Just outside the Top 10 were the K Club (11th), Dromoland Castle (12th), Adare Manor (16th), with Mount Juliet coming in at 18th.
The list was compiled from 128,000 surveyed readers of Condé Nast - a US-based publication which tends to favour hotels popular with American tourists.
The Top 10 resorts in Europe as voted for by readers were:

4 - Ashford Castle, Co. Mayo

7 - Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa, Hampshire, UK
8 - Powerscourt Hotel, Co. Wicklow
9 - Sheen Falls Lodge, Co. Kerry
10 - The Dolder Grand, Zurich, Switzerland
