The luxurious Castlemartyr Resort in Co. Cork has come on the market, with a guide price of €13 million.
The hotel, which opened in 2007, has hosted a number of renowned visitors such as Bill Clinton and Bruce Springsteen. The sale is being handled by Savills.
Boasting 102 bedrooms, including 32 suites and manor state rooms, the hotel is expected to draw interest from international players, although some Irish investors may be interested also.
The site also comprises a spa and health club including a swimming pool, treatment rooms, steam room, sauna, water features and a private treatment suite. An 18 hole golf course is also included in the resort.
Speaking about the property, Tom Barrett of Savills said: "Castlemartyr Resort is one of the finest hotels to ever come to the market in Ireland and provides a buyer with the opportunity to acquire an exceptional hotel in a superb condition.
"The significant increase in domestic and overseas trips taken in Ireland has boosted Ireland’s hotel trade and Castlemartyr has huge potential. We expect strong demand from both local and international buyers.”
