The four-star McWilliam Park Hotel in Claremorris, Co. Mayo has entered examinership following an application from the High Court.
According to RTE.ie, the hotel will continue to trade as normal during the examinership and all events planned at the hotel will go ahead. All bookings will be honored as normal.
Kieran Wallace of KPMG has be appointed as the interim examiner to the hotel, which has struggled under the burden of pre-downturn debt, despite trading well since.
Opened in 2006, McWilliam Park hires a total of 120 staff. Managing Director Damian Prendergast said: “Our goal is to put the business on a long-term sustainable footing, securing jobs and building on what has already been achieved.”
