Nama is preparing to put Dublin's Gibson Hotel on the market as part of more than €300 million worth of high profile asset sales in the coming weeks, with the venue's price speculated to be in the region of €80 million, according to reports last week.
As reported by The Sunday Business Post, estate agents are currently pitching for the rights to the Gibson and it is expected that Dalata, the company who currently operates the hotel, will be among those bidding on it when it hits the market.
Nama is also seeking a buyer for its interest in South Dublin apartment development The Grange, as well as the XO building in Dublin's docklands. The latter premises, which is still under construction, will be the city's tallest office block when completed and Nama is looking for a partner to "forward fund" the development in a deal that would involve an investor paying an upfront fee for the building, with ownership to transfer upon completion.
