Fitzwilliam Read Estate Properties is set to begin building a new 310-bedroom hotel at the junction of Liffey Street and Middle Abbey Street in Dublin 1.
According to The Irish Times, the company has lodged a commencement notice for a€55 million hotel and retail development at the junction, with construction scheduled to finish in mid-2020. When complete, the hotel will be operated by budget brand Motel One.
First Irish Venue
The new hotel will be the first Irish venue run by Motel One, which currently operates 66 hotels across Europe with a combined total of over 18,400 bedrooms.
