The Abbey Hotel, located on Middle Abbey Street, Dublin 1, has been put on the market for sale by private treaty, with offers in excess of €3.5m being sought for the property.
The Abbey Hotel is a boutique 21 bedroom hotel, with bar and restaurant, just off O'Connell Street. The property is convenient to a host of tourist attractions including the vibrant Temple Bar area, Trinity College, Dublin Castle and the Guinness Storehouse.
According to John Ryan of CBRE the sale of The Abbey Hotel offers the hotelier "an opportunity to acquire a well-positioned hotel property which is presented in turn key condition".
In addition, there is the potential to expand the accommodation with 12 extra bedrooms (subject to the necessary planning permission), according to Ryan.
