Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort has announced the appointment of Denise Corboy to the role of director of sales and marketing.
Originally from Limerick but now a long-term resident in Dublin, Corboy has over 35 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, specialising in sales within the hotel management structure at property level.
Background
Corboy most recently held the role of director of sales at the Camden Court Hotel, where she was part of the team since its inception 26 years ago.
She previously worked in Business & Leisure, a hotel sales and marketing company, and with Slieve Russell Hotel.
'Beautiful Destination Resort'
“I am thrilled to be joining the team at Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort. Druids Glen is a beautiful destination resort in the relaxing countryside of Wicklow, but still just a stone's throw from Dublin," said Corboy.
"I am looking forward to working with the talented Druids Glen team across various departments, as well as making my own contribution to the hotel’s success.”
20th Anniversary
Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort is a five-star establishment located in County Wicklow which celebrated its 20th anniversary last year.
Over the years there has been significant investment in the resort including the first ever alteration to the original footprint of the hotel in 2018, extending the former area of the existing bar and pavilion overlooking Druids Glen Golf Course.
The Neville Hotel Group
The Neville Hotel Group purchased Druids Glen & Golf Resort in July 2019 and invested in a 12-month multimillion-euro restoration project.
The Hotel Group also owns the Royal Marine Hotel in Dún Laoghaire, River Court Hotel in Kilkenny and the Tower Hotel & Leisure Centre in Waterford City.
