Permission Sought To Demolish Dublin's Kildare Street Hotel

Development firm Ternary has applied for permission to demolish Dublin's Kildare Street Hotel and its adjoining pub, JP Mooney's, to allow for the creation of a new five-storey mixed use development.

The proposed near-2,800-square-metre development would feature retail and café space on its ground floor, and office space on its uppers floors as well as on one of two basement levels.

Other Plans

Ternary has also applied for permission to refurbish three other buildings that it owns near The Kildare Street Hotel. The development firm said that the three buildings, which are located on the capital's Nassau Street, require structural repair, as reported by The Irish Independent.

The buildings are currently occupied at ground level by Lapis Jewellers, Butlers Chocolate Café, and Knobs and Knockers.
