The Dean Hotel, located on Harcourt Street in Dublin, was one of businesses recognised for their partnerships with the arts at the 26th annual Allianz Business to Arts Awards held on Monday (4 September).
The Dean's collaboration with IMMA resulted in the hotel taking home the trophy for 'Best Mid-size Partnership at the event, the purpose of which is to highlight businesses, artists and arts organisations that strike up creative partnerships, as reported by The Irish Times.
Other winners included the Dublin Port Company and National Concert Hall, who won the 'Jim McNaughton Perpetual Award for Best Commissioning Practice'; Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and the IADT for Young Women in Film & Television, who won the award for "Best Small Sponsorship"; and Accenture, who received the "Best Large Sponsorship" prize for a programme run in conjunction with the Royal Irish Academy called "Women on Walls".
Commenting on the event's outcome, Business to Arts chief executive Andrew Hetherington, said: "Our winners are collaborating to address social, environmental, and workplace issues, and it is more relevant than ever to acknowledge the impact creativity and art industry interaction can have on Irish society."
