Dalata Hotel Group has officially opened its Maldon Hotel in Kevin Street, Dublin. Overlooking St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the hotel features 137 bedrooms, a Grain and Grill Restaurant as well as Dalata Hotel Group’s own coffee brand, Red Bean Roastery.
The hotel was officially opened by minister for housing, planning and local government Eoghan Murphy TD alongside Dalata chairman John Hennessy.
"An Excellent Addition"
Dalata CEO Pat McCann commented, “This hotel, situated in an exciting and vibrant part of the city, is an excellent addition to our Dublin portfolio and strengthens our position as market leader. As the Irish economy continues to grow, and with domestic and inbound tourism numbers expected to increase, our pipeline of rooms in both Dublin, and regional Ireland, means that we are well placed to cater for that growth.
“The opening of this hotel has resulted in the creation of over 70 jobs with an investment of €26 million in the local area. We are enthusiastic about the prospects for this hotel and we look forward to partnering with our neighbours over the coming years.”
