It's been announced that Dalata Hotel Group is extending its lease agreement on the Ballsbridge Hotel until October of 2018, at which point the option will exist for a further extenuation to March of 2019.
As reported by The Irish Independent, the four-star, 392-bedroom Ballsbridge Hotel is located on Pembroke Road on the south side of Dublin city and has been run by Dalata since January of 2012.
Commenting on the news, Dalata deputy CEO Dermot Crowley said, "We are pleased to extend our lease with Chartered Land on the Ballsbridge Hotel for the busy 2018 season. The Ballsbridge Hotel is a landmark hotel providing close to 400 bedrooms and conference facilities in the competitive Dublin city centre market."
