Dalata and the GAA have announced plans to develop a new 200-bedroom Maldron hotel on the grounds of a seminary at Clonliffe College beside Croke Park in Dublin.
While the project has yet to receive panning permission, Dalata and the GAA have made a deal to allow the GAA to develop the hotel if its construction is approved. However, it is believed that the GAA is considering syndicating the project to other investors in the future, as reported by The Irish Times.
Long Lease
It is also believed that the proposed hotel would be run by Dalata on a long lease of possibly up to three decades, and that Dalata's commitment to the project on a long covenant is likely to make it a much more valuable proposition for syndication.
