British hospitality group Whitbread has revealed that it will be opening a new Premier Inn hotel in Cork in 2023.
The new hotel, which will be the company's first hotel in Ireland outside of Dublin, will be located on Morrisons Quay in Cork and will include 183 bedrooms, according to The Irish Independent.
Irish Expansion Plans
Whitbread also plans to expand into others parts of Ireland, such as Galway, Limerick and Killarney.
The Irish Independent quotes the Whitbread's head of acquisitions in Ireland, Kevin Murray, as saying that the company is "actively seeking freehold and leasehold opportunities for Premier Inn right across the country."
