Clayton hotel Dublin Airport has received four-star accreditation from Failte Ireland.
The hotel (formerly Bewley’s Hotel Dublin Airport) is part of Dalata hotel group, Ireland's largest hotel group, and boasts 469 rooms.
The company revealed that the hotel is currently under refurbishment with a new executive bedroom floor and newly refurbished superior rooms to the Clayton brand standard.
Des McCann, general manager of the hotel, comments: "This is the culmination of huge amount of effort and hard work by the whole team. I am delighted the standard of food, service, accommodation and all conferences and events have been brought to four star since we took over last June".
The hotel, the third largest in Ireland, employs over 200 staff.
