Ashford Castle has appointed Lisa Toomey as its new Director of Food & Beverage, where she'll join the five-star property's team of 350 staff.
Having worked in the hospitality industry for over 11 years, Toomey brings plenty of experience to Ashford Castle from working in both the Irish and UK markets. She has previously worked as Food & Beverage Manager at the Hyatt Regency London, and more recently, in the same role at London's The Connaught Hotel.
The Food & Beverage experience at Ashford Castle encompasses a number of offerings for guests including the fine dining George V Dining Room, the bistro-style Dungeon restaurant, the Prince of Wales Bar, the recently reopened Cullen’s at the Cottage (seasonal restaurant located on the grounds of the Ashford Estate), and the Wine Cellar.
