Co. Kerry's Aghadoe Heights Hotel and Spa has appointed Carmel Guihen as its general manager.

In a statement published on Winmgt.ie, the hotel said, "It is with great pleasure that the Aghadoe Heights Hotel and Spa announce the appointment of Carmel Guihen as their general manager.
"A native of Co. Clare, she has had a successful career, with 20 year's experience in hotel management and hospitality. Carmel will now be responsible for the management and continued success of our hotel.
"Carmel began her career at the Doonbeg Hotel and Resort. where she undertook various roles. She subsequently took up a senior management position at Dromoland Castle Hotel, assuming various positions of responsibility. This led to her appointment as general manager of the Fota Island Resort and Spa, Co. Cork, where she gained a reputation for hard work, encouraging teamwork and was also instrumental in increasing the brand image of that Hotel. Her passion for the industry and her high standards will be an asset in her new position at the Aghadoe Heights Hotel and Spa."

The hotel's statement added, "She is very much looking forward to playing a role in the continued success and development of our hotel. Her passion for customer service, attention to detail and creating a good work environment will be an asset to our group.
