The team at Adare Manor, in Limerick, is celebrating after it was announced that the resort has retained its Forbes Travel Guide five-star rating for 2024.
In addition to the five-star rating, the general manager of Adare Manor, Brendan O’Connor, has been invited to the Forbes Travel Guide’s Standards Advisory Committee (SAC) for the 2024-25 term.
This exclusive role is extended by invitation only to the most well-regarded experts in hospitality and luxury brands from around the world.
‘Terrific Commitment’
“I speak on behalf of the entire team at Adare Manor when I say we are incredibly proud to retain our Forbes Travel Guide five-star rating for 2024,” said O’Connor.
“This international award is testament to the terrific commitment, shown each day by our team, to deliver the very best service and unforgettable experience to every guest who comes through the gates at Adare Manor.
“To go through such an in-depth judging process and to achieve a five-star rating means a great deal to us all.”
Forbes Travel Guide
To decide on the exclusive annual list, Forbes Travel Guide inspectors visit hotels anonymously, evaluating their experience on a strict set of criteria and up to 500 exacting service, facility, and guest experience standards.
Of the over 187,000 hotels worldwide, only the very best earn the five-star rating, with 2024 seeing just 342 hotels achieving that status globally.
Adare Manor is one of only two Irish hotels to achieve a five-star award this year.
Michelin Star
Earlier this week, the Oak Room at Adare Manor celebrated retaining its Michelin star for another year.
In addition, Adare Manor was recently announced as the number-one resort in Europe at both the 2022 and 2023 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.
