Co. Limerick's five-star Adare Manor hotel is celebrating its first birthday since reopening to guests in November 2017 following an extensive restoration, refurbishment and expansion programme over a 21 month period.
Reflecting On The Past Year
Since reopening, Adare Manor has experienced success on the world stage, winning awards and accolades both nationally and internationally. Speaking about the venue's achievements over the past year, Adare Manor general manager Paul Heery said, "We have come a long way since reopening last November. It has been an incredible journey and we have enjoyed every minute. It took a lot of hard work, commitment and determination from our wonderful team.
“Reflecting on the past twelve months and looking at all the achievements Adare Manor has already seen, and the fabulous reactions the resort receives on a daily basis, locally, nationally and internationally, we look forward with great encouragement to the future. One of our highlights and most significant achievements of the year was being voted 'Hotel of the Year 2018' at the world-renowned global Virtuoso 'Best of the Best Awards', and it was with great pride that we brought this worldwide award back to Ireland and Limerick.
"Huge Support"
Heery added, "We have received huge support locally and internationally since we re-opened last year, and we would like to thank all the guests who have visited Adare Manor over the past 12 months. It was a true testament to the commitment and investment into making Adare Manor into the beautiful resort we have here today."
