Adare Manor has announced the promotion of Liz Godfrey and Gillian Griffin, both current members of its sales team, who will now be appointed as the director of sales – MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) and director of sales – leisure, respectively.
Backgrounds
Godfrey has worked for over ten years with the team at Adare Manor, where she has been assistant director of sales since 2019, and Griffin joined the Adare Manor team in June 2002, initially working in the reservations department and subsequently continuing into the sales department, where she has been the assistant director since April 2019.

Welcoming the appointments, the general manager of Adare Manor, Brendan O’Connor, said, “On behalf of Adare Manor, I am delighted to announce the promotions of Liz Godfrey and Gillian Griffin to director of sales – MICE and director of sales – leisure. They have both been a part of the Adare Manor team for many years and have made a significant contribution to the sales department throughout their time here. They have established themselves within the hospitality industry and have fully immersed themselves in the business, looking for new ways to expand and grow Adare Manor. They prove their value to the team each day, and they will continue to represent the resort across all our markets. We are extremely excited to see their plans for their new roles.”
