It's been confirmed that a new 239-bedroom hotel, indoor market, micro brewery, as well as retail and office space and residential accommodation, will be part of the multi-million euro regeneration scheme in Dublin's Liberties.
The regeneration development is set to be centered around Newmarket Square in the capital's south inner city and will involve the demolition of a 1970s enterprise centre.
According to The Irish Examiner, the overall development will extend to over 400,000 square foot, generating 1,700 permanent jobs as well as augmenting the already established Teelings Distillery.
Cushman & Wakefield, commercial partners of real estate agency, Sherry Fitzgerald, are handling the development, while the design team for the project is a partnership between Reddy Architecture + Urbanism and Mola.
Planning permission is currently in the process of being lodged with Dublin City Council.
