Ireland was promoted by Tourism Ireland to thousands of Italian travel professionals attending TTG Travel Experience in Rimini, Italy, last week.
Five companies from Ireland and Italy joined Tourism Ireland at TTG Travel Experience, which was a three day B2B travel exhibition that attracted influential tour operators, travel agents and leading Italian travel journalists and bloggers.

Tourism Ireland's Manager Italy, Marcella Ercolini, stated, "Tourism Ireland is delighted to be attending TTG Travel Experience in person once again this week. Interest in visiting Ireland remains strong among Italian travellers and our presence at the show provides an excellent opportunity for our partners to spread the word about the many great things to see and do right around Ireland."
"Green Button" Campaign In Italy
Last month, Tourism Ireland kicked off its new "Green Button" campaign in Italy. It is a €450,000, multimedia promotional campaign that will run until November of 2021, and aims to generate awareness of Ireland and drive bookings for short breaks and holidays in Ireland between now and the end of 2021.

Ercolini added, "We are rolling out our new 'Green Button' campaign in Italy right now, to restart tourism and encourage Italian travellers to 'press the Green Button' and book Ireland for their next holiday. Our key message is that we cannot wait to roll out the green carpet and welcome back our Italian visitors."
