Tourism Ireland promoted the island of Ireland to more than 2,000 US travel professionals who attended the Signature Travel Network Conference in Las Vegas last week.
Details
Seven tourism companies from Ireland joined Tourism Ireland at this important event in the annual travel calendar.
The four-day conference brought together leading US travel professionals with a range of destinations and suppliers from around the world. The event involved a trade show, workshops, networking sessions and seminars - and was a valuable opportunity for Tourism Ireland and its partners from Ireland to meet with influential US travel advisors.
Tourism Ireland hosted one-to-one meetings at the conference's trade show. Tourism Ireland also held a "Best of Ireland" workshop, highlighting the many things to see and do around Ireland.
Given that tour operators, travel advisors and online travel agents continue to be an important booking channel for US holidaymakers, a key element of Tourism Ireland's programme of activity involves working closely with the travel trade in the United States.
Statement By Tourism Ireland's Head Of North America
Alison Metcalfe, Tourism Ireland's head of North America, said, "Our presence at the Signature Travel Network Conference is another excellent opportunity to meet and engage with influential US travel professionals, ensuring Ireland is 'top of mind' for them when recommending destinations to their clients for 2023 and beyond. The conference also provides a great platform for our partners to spread the word about the many great things to see and do right around Ireland."
