Singapore Airlines will re-start flights between Singapore and the USA, with flights to Newark, New Jersey being the longest non-stop flight in the world at 19 hours.
According to the Irish Times, the airline will take a delivery of Airbus Group's A350-900 ULR aeroplanes (pictured), an ultra-long range plane capable of making the 19-hour flight.
The group previously cancelled the non-stop flight due to a lack of profitability but has decided to reinstate it due to customer demand, according to a statement.
The carrier announced it will fly non-stop to Los Angeles and New York, with other locations in the US being considered.
