Ryanair has released its traffic statistics for March, revealing that the total number of passengers the company carried last month increased by 1.4 million, or 12%, year on year, to 12.6 million from 11.2 million in March 2022.
Number Of Flights Operated And Load Factor
Ryanair operated more than 71,350 flights last month, with a load factor of 93%, which was up by 6% from 87% in March 2022.
Rolling Annual Data
Ryanair's rolling 12-month traffic increased by 74% year on year to 168.6 million passengers last month, from 97.0 million in March 2022, and its rolling 12-month load factor increased by 11% to 93%, from 82% in the same month last year.
Ryanair Announces Extra Seats To Liverpool For Eurovision
The above news follows news that Ryanair has announced extra seats from Dublin to Liverpool for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
According to a statement published on Corporate.Ryanair.com, Ryanair will be offering more than 1,500 extra seats on its Dublin to Liverpool route for the Eurovision Song Contest, which takes place on 13 May at the M&S Bank Arena.
Extra flights will operate from Dublin to Liverpool at 14.00 on 9 May and at 12.05 on 12 May, with extra flights operating from Liverpool to Dublin at 19.05 and 21.50 on 14 May.
The statement published on Corporate.Ryanair.com quoted Dara Brady of Ryanair as saying, "We've had record bookings from Irish fans travelling to Liverpool this year for what is set to be an exciting Eurovision Song Contest 2023."
