Ryanair's latest traffic statistics for the month of July show that it has been a record month for the low-cost airline, with traffic growing by 12% and its load factor rising 1%.
Compared to the same time last year, customer numbers have grown from 10.1 million to 11.3 million, the load factor has increased from 95% to 96%, and its rolling annual traffic has grown by 16% to 110.7 million customers.
Commenting on the July report, Ryanair's Kenny Jacobs said: “We became the first airline in the world to carry over 11 million international passengers in one month, with a load factor of 96%. These record passenger figures were delivered at lower fares, and thanks to the continuing success of our “Always Getting Better” programme which continues to win new customers and new markets, despite yet more French ATC strikes and continuing post-Brexit market uncertainty. Our customers, and in particular families, are flying in even greater numbers this summer, thanks to Ryanair’s lower fares that are already down 10% versus last year.”
