European low-cost carrier Ryanair Holdings Plc will start 14 new airline routes to Jordan beginning in March, Minister of Tourism Lina Annab said.
The first route will operate from Paphos, Cyprus, to Amman, Annab said at a news conference on Sunday (February 4). It will be followed by nine new routes to the capital and four others to Aqaba beginning in winter 2018, she said.
The added routes are expected to bring up to 500,000 customers per year and create 340 on-site jobs, Ryanair’s Chief Commercial Officer David O’Brien said at the news conference.
