Ryanair has announced a new route from Dublin to Kyiv, with a twice-weekly service due to commence in April of 2019.
Ryanair’s Robin Kiely commented, "We are pleased to announce another new Dublin route and our first from Ireland to Kyiv, Ukraine, commencing in April 2019, which will operate twice weekly, our 11th new Dublin Summer 2019 route."
A Strengthening Route Network
Meanwhile, Dublin Airport managing director Vincent Harrison said, "Ryanair operates 99 routes from Dublin Airport and we are delighted to see its route network strengthening further with the addition of Kiev next year. With a population of more than 2.8 million, Kiev is a major city in eastern Europe with an abundance of culture and history. The new route will boost trade and tourism between Ireland and Ukraine, and I have no doubt it will be a popular route in both directions. We will work closely with Ryanair and its management team to promote this new route."
