Ryanair has announced that it will increase the number of flights between Dublin and Birmingham for the Cheltenham National Hunt Festival in March.
The Irish Independent reports that Ryanair will carry a new record of 20,000 racing fans to this year's equine festival. This equates to an extra 30 flights between March 15-18.
The Ryanair steeple chase, which takes places on Thursday March 17, is sponsored by the company and is regarded as one of the festival's highlights.
Ryanair also has scheduled flights to Bristol during the week of the event.
