Maintenance costs and investment at Co. Galway's Kylmore Abbey caused the tourist attraction's profits to drop by approximately €100,000 in 2017.
As reported by The Irish Independent, the abbey recorded profits of €722,652 for last year, with the majority of the attraction's income being generated by the 330,000 visitors who passed through its doors in 2017.
