Almost 320,000 passengers are expected to travel through Dublin Airport this May Bank Holiday weekend (Friday-Monday), according the DAA.
Dublin Airport reports that passenger figures are up 14% over the same weekend last year.
Dublin Airport's External Communications Manager, Siobhán O\Donnell, said over 2,300 flights will arrive and depart this May Bank Holiday as the summer holiday season gets underway.
"Thirteen routes and services to new and exciting destinations are being added to the summer schedule in the coming weeks giving customers great choice and flexibility.
"We look forward to welcoming a second carrier on the Dublin to Los Angeles route next week when Aer Lingus launches its new five times weekly service joining Ethiopian Airways who have a three times weekly service," said O'Donnell.
Over 5.5 million passengers have used Dublin Airport in the first three months of the year, a 17% increase over the same quarter last year or an extra 817,000 passengers so far this year.
