New figures from Airports Council International (ACI) have revealed that Dublin Airport experienced passenger growth of 6.7% in September.

As reported by The Irish Independent, Dublin's 6.7% growth rate was the fifth-highest rate in September among European airports that handle more than 25 million passengers per year.
The airport with the highest growth in the group was Moscow's Sheremetyevo with growth of 15.6%, followed by Madrid with growth of 8.2%, London Stansted with a rate of 9.1% and Lisbon with 7%.
Dublin Airport is currently on track to handle more than 30 million passengers in 2018.
European Passengers Numbers
Meanwhile, ACI's data also revealed that passenger numbers rose 5% across Europe during the year's third quarter. This compares to rises of 8.9% and 6% in the first and second quarters, respectively.
