Riverfest, the celebrated May Bank Holiday festival, is expected to attract over 50,000 people this year. The annual Limerick occasion has the reputation of being a cornucopia for foodies, and for being replete with entertainment of all varieties.
The four-day event features the famous Barringtons Hospital Great Limerick Run, the Coors Light Riverfest BBQ Competition (the largest barbecue cook-off in Ireland), the Continental Fair of European Artisan Producers, and the well-reputed Fashion Friday (which will take place on Thomas Street).
Riverfest runs from 2 May through 5 May.
