Hotelympia is to take place in London next week (29 February to 3 March), with the UK's biggest hospitality event expected to draw its biggest crowd to date.
One of the highlights will include Soluis - a walk-in virtual reality dome offering an up-close look at three of the capital's newest bolt-holes: the German Gymnasium in Kings Cross, Victoria's M Restaurant and the Hilton Bankside.
The Skills Theatre will offer chefs to opportunity to take classes in butchery, fishmongery, pastry, sugarcraft and more. A Drinks Innovation Theatre will also give visitors the chance to discover profit opportunities from craft beer, spirits, cocktails and wine, while a Careers in Hospitality fair will be open for the duration of the show.
The fair will have a strong emphasis on the current shortage of chefs in Ireland; with the hospitality sector needing to recruit an additional 11,000 chefs by 2022.
There will also be three award ceremonies: Innovation Awards, The Hotelympia 'Hall of Fame' Award and the Hotelympia Restaurant Design Award 2016.
Toby Wand, Managing Director at Fresh Montgomery, commented: "With more product innovation than ever before, new attractions, insightful speakers and a focus on the key trends shaping hospitality business in the 21st Century, no other show provides a better snapshot of the state of the industry".
Registration for the event is at www.hotelympia.com/register for the biennial four-day show.
